24 Hour Gameathon

I started to support Child’s Play in 2012 by organizing my own fundraising event. Our first year was a very big year and we learned a great deal from the experience. In the end, we were pleased with the amount of money we raised. My first event wrap up can be found HERE. Several screens of the event page can be found HERE and HERE.

We came back our second year with a somewhat smaller event that was easier to manage. I learned a lot more from this experience by trying a few new things. I also learned to leave the event page intact for posterity. You can find that page HERE. In our third year, we continued the tradition and expanded. I have branched off the Gameathon to its own separate entity to accommodate more teams and more players. Details can be found HERE.

This year, we have moved this annual event into a bi-annual event. We will dedicate the spring to a charity called Operation Supply Drop and our regular fall event will once again benefit Child’s Play.

To date we have raised over $8000.00 for charity.
